Locationary is a new web site which is still in an invite only Beta testing period. It is a fun time waster as well as a good way to make some extra money. Membership is completely free; however, you must have an invite to join while Locationary is still in Beta. I have provided a link to an invite at the bottom of this post. Locationary hopes to take the place of local databases which charge hundreds of thousands of dollars for local data around the globe. The data entered by Locationary's users will be given free to anyone who wants it. This will make Locationary the prime place to get local data on a global scale. Applications and web sites will spring up quickly from the newly available free data. Why should you join Locationary? When you join, you have the ability to enter local places. The places can be anything from a local restaurant, doctors office, gas station, school, or any other place. When you add a place to the database, you receive 15 shares in that place. You can then add more data (for additional shares) to the place such as a phone number, zip code, parking options, payment options, products offered, etc. Once Locationary comes out of Beta, they will offer advertising packages to the locations added. These packages will allow businesses to post job openings, coupons, specials, and describe new happenings at their business. They can also pay for priority in the Locationary search engine. When a place advertises, 50% of the revenue goes to Locationary, and 50% of the revenue goes to shareholders in that place. So if a place spends $100 a month on advertising, and you own 30 of 60 shares in that place, you would earn $25 per month (50 dollars goes to shareholders and you would own half of the shares). Eventually, Locationary will give you the materials to be proactive in getting the businesses you add to advertise. Or you can just add shares and hope that they advertise in the future. You will also receive one ticket per share that you get. Tickets can be exchanged for gift cards and prizes, or the tickets can be entered into auctions for gift cards or prizes. Cent Sports is an interesting new web site which was made by a group of students and professionals out of College Station, Texas. It is your normal sports betting web site with a twist. It is completely free! It runs very similar to Moola. They give you ten cents, and you raise your balance via bets until you reach the cash out point of 10 dollars. They pay out via check and paypal. The web site uses the betting lines straight from Vegas. It also offers a 5% referral bonus on all of your referrals bet winnings. This seems like a very generous referral bonus, especially if someone starts to bet higher values. Another feature allows you to watch a video ad after you place your bet for better payouts. So far I have seen added odds after ads of 25%, 50%, and 100%. If your bet would pay out 10 cents and you have a 50% bonus after the ad, you would receive 15 cents when you win. This makes it so you can make money even if you can only win 45-50 percent of your games. Cent Sports will always let you start over from 10 cents if you lose a bet, so don't be afraid to risk it all. This seems like a great web site to make some extra cash. The only downsides I see to this site are: 1. It seems to be in a early beta stage (the web site doesn't look like its been around long, and they admit their new messaging system will have bugs, etc.). 2. It seems like from their business model that they will give out a lot of money quickly. It worries me that they will go out of business before I make cashout. Only time will tell with this problem though, and Moola has a similar business model and seems to be making it strong.
